Xiaomi Redmi Y1 | Best Budget Smartphone With Amazing Selfie Camera

Hey guys! Welcome to Androplayapps, Today we are gonna talk about a smartphone which is recently launched by Xiaomi. This could be the best budget smartphone especially in the Indian market. Already the Xiaomi is selling the most number of phones in India like Redmi Note 4, Redmi 4 and 4a, these phones are doing amazing work and here we comes with another phone again from Xiaomi called Xiaomi Redmi Y1. So keep reading here to know a 360 degree review of this phone.

Let's talk about its specifications first:-

CAMERA:-

The main focus of this phone is to make it a youth friendly phone and today's youth is mostly concerned with Selfies. So for those people who take many selfies every day and want to take much better selfies with a budget smartphone(unlike Oppo or Vivo) this would be the best choice for them as this phone comes with 16 MP front camera with f/2.0 aperture plus it also has a selfie flash by which you can take selfies even in dark. The back camera is same i.e, 13 MP which can record videos of 1080p@30fps. The back camera is normal like in Xiaomi's other phones like Note 4 or Redmi 4 etc. We can't say anything about its front camera yet because it isn't comes in the market yet but we can assume that it must got better this time because its other phones doesn't have that good level camera yet.The new UI also comes with Smart Photo editing feature which will let users erase objects from photos.

HARDWARE:-

It comes with Qualcomm MSM8940 Snapdragon 435 Chipset it has Octa-core 1.4 GHz Cortex-A53 with the GPU Adreno 505. There is nothing new in the processor as this has already been used in Redmi 4  so we can say that it will gonna be a stable device like Redmi 4.

DISPLAY:-

It has IPS 5.5 inches IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen, 16M colors, the screen is not Full HD but a 720p HD screen which is pretty good but not as 1080p. The screen size is bigger 5.5 which is just like Redmi Note 4 so in this budget price range this is a plus point because most of the people prefer bigger screens.

STORAGE:-

The phone comes in two variants one is 32 GB storage and 3 GB RAM and other is 64 GB storage and 4 GB RAM. This time there is no hybrid sim problem because this phone comes with a dedicated SD card slot by which you can increase the storage upto 256 GB which is the the best point of this phone after Camera, So the 32 GB storage variant would be more preferable as you can increase the memory anytime you want and the difference is 2,000 INR between these variants. 

BATTERY:-

This time the battery comes down to Non-removable Li-Ion 3080 mAh. Stand-by- Up to 240 h (3G), Talk time- Up to 32 h (3G), Music play- Up to 75 h.
I am not saying that the 3080 mAh is bad but we say that Redmi is mostly sold for its 4000 mAh bigger battery so this time we don't get that power so this is a very big negative point for this phone. 

OTHER:-

It runs on Android 7.0 Nougat.
It has a finger print sensor at the back like other Xiaomi phones. 
The Sim card supports 4G  LTE.
Wi-fi, Bluetooth, GPS and Infrared Port also available to control TV, AC etc.
Dimensions- 53 x 76.2 x 7.7 mm (6.02 x 3.00 x 0.30 in)
Weight- 153 g (5.40 oz)

So these are the Specifications now let's talk about Price.

The 32 GB variant costs 8,999 INR and the 64 GB variant costs 10,999 IND.
It will be available from 8 November exclusively on Amazon in Flash sale. The timing of sale would be 12 p.m.

So these all are the points I wanted to mention about this phone so in my opinion this is a phone with good specs with a little pocket friendly price so if you are looking for a phone under 10,000 go for this phone. Also the Mi UI 9 is also coming so that would be a pleasure to use it in this latest mobile by Xiaomi.
