Google Assistant- Your Own Personal Assistant- Androplayapps

Today I am going to write something about a new release by Google called Google Assistant.

Actually it was released in 2016 but that time it was launched exclusively for Google Pixel Phones but now Google releases it for many different phones which are running on Android Marshmallow 6.0 and above.

So, What exactly is this Assistant by Google?

You must have heard about the Siri (Apple) and Cortana (Microsoft) it’s just like them. It is an upgrade to Google Now in which we can set alarms or reminders and stuffs like this with our voice.

It is an upgrade so now we can actually talk to the Assistant and do many more things like calling, writing and sending messages, search anything etc. We just have to go in Google voice settings and set it up first with ‘Ok Google’ detection.

For using it we just have to click and hold home button or just say ‘Ok Google’, it will open and say anything to it and it will respond so fast and mostly accurate. This assistant can also remember things which you want it to remind like your name and your city kind of stuff.

How can you get this ?

If you’re running or Android Marshmallow and above then check on the Google’s website that if it is launched for your phone. If your phone’s name is in the list then just update your Google apps and Google services app after that just set up your Google voice and start using it.

Don’t worry if your phone is not in the list, just try to follow these steps to get it:-

1-   Go to Google play store and download ‘Play services Info’.

2-  After it is downloaded just open it and click on play store.

3-  It will take you to Google Play services, just go at the bottom and join for Beta testing.

4-  After few minutes you will become a beta tester and get an update, update the app and follow next step.

5-  Go to Play store and search for Google App. Slide down to the bottom and become and beta tester, after some time you will become beta tester of that app, then just the app.

6-  After updating reboot your phone and here you just installed Google Assistant.
